Funding for electric farm loaders & wheel loaders

FNR

The Agency for Renewable Resources (FNR) supports the transition toward a more climate-friendly and sustainable agriculture on behalf of the German federal government. Under relevant funding programs, agricultural enterprises can receive financial grants for investments in climate-friendly technologies and machinery. Depending on the applicable funding requirements, this may also include electrically powered farm loaders and wheel loaders.

The use of electric machinery can help reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and the associated CO₂ emissions. At the same time, electric farm and wheel loaders offer further advantages in daily operations: they operate with zero local emissions, produce significantly less noise, and can require less maintenance due to their electric drive.

The funding is intended to support agricultural businesses in investing in modern and energy-efficient technology, thereby contributing to climate protection and the sustainable development of agriculture. Which specific machines and investments are eligible for funding and what the funding level is depends on the current funding guidelines and the terms and conditions in effect at the time of application to the FNR.
