MONA Orbit

Climb on, drive two meters, climb off – and repeat just a few minutes later. When manually mucking out, feeding, or working in the pasture, a yard loader often only needs to be moved over short distances.

That is exactly what MONA Orbit is for. With an additional fingertip joystick mounted on the side of the yard loader, the operator can move the machine forward or backward while standing right next to it. This saves unnecessary climbing on and off and simplifies recurring work processes on the farm.

Simply move it while walking alongside

In Orbit mode, the MONA yard loader can be moved at a maximum speed of 4 km/h using the additional drive joystick. The operator remains next to the machine and can easily nudge it forward or backward a few meters for the next work step.

Switching between standard driving mode and MONA Orbit is done via the standard-fitted touch display.

Safety consistently considered

In Orbit mode, all lifting and working functions are software-locked. Only forward or backward movement is possible via the Orbit joystick.

As soon as the operator releases the joystick, the parking brake is automatically activated.

Intelligently utilizing existing vehicle technology

MONA Orbit does not require a remote control or complex additional sensors. Instead, the system uses the existing digital vehicle architecture of MONA yard loaders.

The Orbit joystick is integrated into the CAN bus architecture and the VCU. Drive authorization, speed limitation, locking of working functions, and the parking brake are implemented via the vehicle control system. This creates a practical and affordable solution for everyday workflows.

Developed for everyday work

MONA Orbit is particularly suitable for dairy, horse, and sheep farms, as well as landscaping – wherever manual tasks and many short driving distances follow one another directly.
