The MONA app is currently an exclusive, closed platform developed exclusively for our customers. It simplifies machine management by efficiently identifying machine types and accessories, helping users find the right spare parts and authorized dealers, and providing convenient access to operator manuals and repair service requests. Furthermore, the app offers fun facts about CO2 savings and allows customers to recommend their MONA farm loader.

Your tasks:

App Development

• Improving the current React Native application by integrating new features.
• Support in the development and maintenance of high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Native integration

• Use Xcode and Android Studio to create and integrate native modules as needed.
• Development with native languages ​​(Swift/Objective-C for iOS and Java/Kotlin for Android) to optimize app performance.

Co-development

• Close collaboration with Embedded Systems Engineer to create interfaces to hardware components and autonomous systems.
• Support in integrating secure and robust APIs for data exchange between the app and backend services.

Web Development

• Mirroring the functionalities of the app on the website and vice versa, in particular the management of user accounts and the service area.

Continuous improvement, maintenance & updates

• Follow developments in the React Native ecosystem and trends in app development.
• Proactively manage dependencies and resolve issues arising from framework updates.

Your profile:

• B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Computer Science or similar
• Good understanding of the React Native framework for cross-platform development on iOS and Android
• First experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with platform-specific languages ​​(Swift/Objective C for iOS, Java/Kotlin for Android)
• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio for app development, debugging, and deployment
• Experience with the Shopify ecosystem is an advantage
